Miller’s Handyman Services LLC (MHS LLC) is a veteran-owned and operated business led by Bert Miller, a proud resident of the Driftless Region near Viola, Wisconsin. Bert lives with his wife, Jackie, and their daughter, Emmerson, who fill their home with love and inspire his dedication to serving the local community. Together, they embrace the natural beauty and strong community spirit of Southwestern Wisconsin, which drives Bert’s passion for enhancing homes in the area.
Bert’s unique journey shapes his approach to business and craftsmanship. Raised in an Amish community until the age of 19, he developed a strong foundation in traditional skills and a deep appreciation for hard work and integrity. After leaving the Amish community, Bert pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He leverages his technical expertise and AI-driven solutions to ensure customers receive the best products and services tailored to their needs. With over 14 years of service in the United States military, including multiple 6-month deployments overseas, Bert brings discipline, precision, and resilience to every project. His skills include painting (interior and exterior), carpentry, yard care, home renovations, tiling (bathroom and floor), laminate flooring, and custom creations like coffee bars. (Note: Nothing that Miller’s Handyman Services LLC or any representative thereof posts online or says in person shall be construed as an endorsement by the Department of Defense.)
Bert is actively serving in the military until the end of 2025, when he plans to transition fully into expanding MHS LLC. This business is his vision for continuing to serve the Southwestern and Central Wisconsin community, offering reliable, high-quality home services. From minor repairs and renovations, Bert is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions with a personal touch.

Availability
While Bert remains in active military service, he is available for estimates and project work:
Evenings: Monday through Thursday
Weekends: Friday through Sunday
This schedule will continue until the end of 2025, after which Bert will focus full-time on MHS LLC.
